Nairobi Kenya 14th October 2024 - Kenya Airways is set to host the third Africa Aviation Innovation Summit (AAIS) 2024 on October 17th and 18th, 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya. The summit aims to bring together aviation industry stakeholders, offering exclusive opportunities for industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, and stakeholders to collaborate, share insights, and explore partnerships to shape the aviation sector's future.
The 2024 Summit's theme is "Diversification: Reaching New Customer Segments," and Kenya Airways will be the proud host. The summit is a celebration of African innovation, highlighting the creativity and contributions of African innovators and startups in enhancing the aviation innovation landscape. It seeks to address the evolving needs of customers in this dynamic industry and emphasize the crucial role of the African aviation industry in the continent's economy.

Nairobi, 11th May 2022 – Kenya’s national carrier, Kenya Airways (KQ), has announced participation in the second edition of the Sustainable Flight Challenge (TSFC), an initiative of SkyTeam. The initiative is a friendly competition between SkyTeam member airlines. This year, TSFC has extended the invitation to ‘friends & family’ airlines close to SkyTeam as the alliance seeks to drive broader industry change. Therefore, KQ will work with its subsidiary Jambojet to generate a number of varied solutions which can be implemented and scaled to improve sustainability.
