Nairobi, 14 June 2023 - Kenya's national carrier Kenya Airways (KQ) recognized three drivers under the International Automobile Federation (FIA) Rally Star Programme as the future of motorsports in Kenya. The drivers Jeremy Wahome, Hamza Anwar and McRae Kimathi accompanied by their navigators Victor Okundi and Mwangi Kioni will participate in the third edition of the Safari Rally since returning to the World Rally Championship (WRC) calendar, much to the delight of all motorsport lovers in the region.

“It is humbling to be involved and witness part of the journey of the next generation of competitive rally drivers sprouting from Kenya. Each one of these young rally drivers have gone through their own motorsports journey to be here, and now they are competing at continental and global stage courtesy of the FIA Rally Stars with the support of the Pride of Africa. The result of their growth is evident in their performances,” “said Allan Kilavuka, Group MD and CEO, Kenya Airways.
